ALL DAY - MLK Open Mic Night and Tribute to MLK through musical performances from Adams, Rochester and Stoney Creek bands. Along with the Neighborhood House partnership with Social Justice Club students to support people and families in need. Crown the King, share photos of yoruself in a homemade crown to represent the values of Dr. King. 6pm. RCS Administration Center located at 501 W. University Drive in Rochester. Regular board meetings are held in accordance with the Open Meetings Act and the public is welcome to attend. Unless otherwise noted, meetings take place on Monday evenings at 7 p.m. at the district’s Administration Building. Meetings are broadcast on Comcast channel 19, WOW channel 15, or RCS Cable TV Simulcast. Recordings are then posted on the district's website. RCS: COVID-19 Vaccine Clinic

4-6pm at Reuther Middle School. Free COVID-19 vaccines will be offered as a community courtesy to interested individuals through the Oakland County Health Division. Everyone age 5 and older is eligible to receive a COVID-19 vaccine. Wear a mask and bring a valid photo ID. Wear clothing that allows your arm to be easily accessible. Appointments are encouraged at oaklandcountyvaccine.com or by calling 1-800-848-5533. Anyone under 18 must have a parent/guardian present. Oakland County’s Nurse on Call is also available Monday-Friday, 8:30am – 5:00pm to answer any health-related questions at 800-848-5544.

At 6pm the Varsity Girls' Teams compete. At 8pm the Varsity Boys take the court. Both games are at Oakland University Center O'rena, Rochester, MI 48307.

Rochester Area Youth Assistance Pancake Breakfast

8am-11am. Avoid the February winter blues and warm up with delicious pancakes and sausage at the Rochester Fire Station located on 277 E. Second St, in downtown Rochester. Rochester Area Youth Assistance (RAYA) is a prevention-based nonprofit organization whose goal is to strengthen youth and families in the Rochester community. Services and programs are available at no cost or a reduced cost to school-age youth and families who reside in the Rochester Community Schools district. Tickets are $6 for adults and $3 for children under 12. All proceeds go to support Rochester Area Youth Assistance (RAYA).

Rochester Hills Museum at Van Hoosen Farm Reopens

12pm-3pm. The Rochester Hills Museum, 1005 Van Hoosen Road, off Tienken Road between Rochester and Dequindre Roads. The Rochester Hills Museum at Van Hoosen Farm opens our doors to the public for our weekly Drop-In Hours every Friday and Saturday from 12-3pm. There will be a guided tour of the 1840 Van Hoosen Farmhouse at 1pm promptly, followed by a look inside the Red House. Please begin your visit inside the Dairy Barn, between the two historic silos, as you warm up from Michigan’s chilly March temperatures and enjoy our interactive exhibits, various history videos including our PBS film, store items and a friendly face welcoming you to our National Registered Historic Site. Take a self-guided tour of the bottom level of our newly built Equipment Barn, as well as our Bull Barn and Milk House for more exhibits that depict life as it once was in Historic Stony Creek Village. Rochester Regional Chamber of Commerce hosts 2022 Community Outlook Breakfast

8am. Oakland University Student Center. The event will feature regional updates from Rochester, Rochester Hills, Oakland Township, and Rochester Community Schools. A panel of key leaders will share their recap of 2021 and their vision for the coming year while attendees enjoy breakfast. Judge Julie Nicholson, 52-3 District Court, will serve as guest moderator for panelists. We look forward to an informative and inspiring morning: 8:00 AM – Press Conference. 8:30 AM – Networking, 9:00 AM – Breakfast, 9:30 AM – Program Begins.
