Success for the Highlanders in double header today!!
Highlanders won 8-4 in game one against Lakeland High School.
Chris Milliken pitched 4 innings giving up one earned run and striking out 3. Adams scored 5 runs in the bottom of the first. Parker Picot beat out an
infield single with one out. Jackson Borowksi reached on an error. Jon Ursuy drove home Picot with a single. With runners on first and third, Jackson
stole second base and Jon stole home to put the Highlanders up 2-0. Buck Snabes singled to right to score Borowski. After Gavin Bush walked and
Will Stice were hit by a pitch, Joey Ciluffo walked to score Snabes. Benny Dempster walked to score Bush. Stice then scored on a wild pitch to put
the Highlanders up 5-0. Lakeland answered back and scored one run in the top of the 2nd. Parker Picot lead off the bottom of the second with a
single. He stole second base and Ursuy walked. Picot then steals 3rd base and scores on a throwing error to put Adams up 6-1. Joey Ciluffo lead
off the 3rd inning with a single and eventually scores on a passed ball with two outs. In the bottom of the 4th Borowski scores on a bases loaded
walk with Stice at the plate to make 8-1. Lakeland scores 3 in the top of the 5th to make it 8-4. Nathan Bishop finished the game pitching 2 2/3
innings allowing no hits or runs to pick up the save.
In game two the Highlanders had to work at little harder. They fought to came back
for the win after being down 5-3 in the bottom of the 6th to win 7-6. Adams started the game by scoring first for the eighth time this year to go up 3-
0 in the bottom of the 3rd inning. Nathan Bishop led off with a single, his first varsity hit. Braedy Limke then doubled. Parker Picot then almost went
yard for a sacrifice fly to score Bishop and Limke advanced to third base. After Bino Watters and Borowski were both hit by pitches Tait Picot
singled to left field scoring Limke and Watters. Lakeland scored 3 in the top of the 4th to tie the game 3-3. Lakeland scored 2 more in the top of the
fifth to make it a 5-3 game. In the bottom of the 6th inning, Limke walked then Parker Picot singled to left field. Watters doubled to left scoring
Limke. Borowski was intentionally walked, then Tait Picot walked to score his brother Parker. Will Krol hit a groundball in the hole and it was a
fielder’s choice out at 3B to score Watters. Tait then scored on a wild pitch to make it 7-5. Jake Andrzejak came in and picked up the save in his first
game at the Varisty level, he gave up one run to give the Highlanders a 7-6 come from behind win. The Highlanders are 7-1 going in to league
play against the DH against Oxford on Tuesday.

The Highlanders defeated Oxford on Wednesday, April 20th 11-0 and 6-3. In game one Jackson Borowski picked up the win on the mound allowing only 1 hit and 1 BB while striking out five in the shortened game. In game two Parker Picot struck out 9 in the win and Tait Picot recorded the save.

In the second game that day a walk-off left Adams Highlanders Varsity on the
wrong end of a 9-8 defeat to Romeo Varsity Bulldogs on Saturday. The game was tied at eight but the Highlanders were unable to pull off the
victory.

Adams Highlanders Varsity's effort to come back from down nine runs in the fifth inning came up just short, as they fell 9-7 to
Clarkston Wolves Varsity on Wednesday. Adams Highlanders Varsity scored six runs in the failed comeback on a single by Bino Watters in the fifth,
a single by Jon Ursuy in the fifth, a single by Jackson Borowski in the fifth, a single by Buck Snabes in the fifth, and a single by Gavin Bush in the
seventh.
Adams Highlanders Varsity fell behind early in the loss. Clarkston Wolves Varsity scored on a walk by Brady Krzciok, a single by
Mason King, and an error during Payton O'neil's at bat in the first inning.
Clarkston Wolves Varsity got on the board in the first inning. Krzciok
drew a walk, scoring one run.

Adams vs Perrysburg - Doubleheader - Game 1

The Highlanders went 2-0 this weekend against Perrysburg, Ohio to improve their overall record to 13-4, 5-1 in the OAA Red. It
was a big sweep for the Highlanders on Saturday as they defeated the #5 team in the state of Ohio 16-6 and 11-10.
In game one Churchill
earned the win for Adams Highlanders Varsity. The southpaw surrendered four runs on three hits over four innings, striking out five. Joey Ciluffo
threw one inning in relief out of the bullpen to close out the win for the Highlanders.
Adams Highlanders Varsity had three home runs on the
day. In the fourth inning Limke went yard. Parker Picot went for the long ball in the fifth inning followed by twin brother, Tait Picot who had an
oppo dinger in the same inning only to show a little brotherly love and competition.
Adams Varsity collected 14 hits on the day. Jon
Ursuy, Tait Picot, Parker Picot, Ciluffo, and Limke all managed multiple hits for Adams Highlanders Varsity. Tait Picot and Ursuy each managed

Parker Picot lead Adams Highlanders Varsity to victory on the mound in game one of three. The righthander lasted six innings,
allowing three hits and one run while striking out eight. Will Stice came in and threw one inning in relief to complete the game.
The
Highlanders lead the whole game but the Falcons tried to make a comeback in the seventh inning where Adams Highlanders Varsity coughed up
three runs. Adams Highlanders Held strong to get the win 8-4.
The Highlanders put up four runs in the sixth inning. Highlander bats were
led by freshman, Ben Dempster, with 1 RBI, Tait Picot , with 2 RBI, and Bino Watters, with 3 RBI.

Adams Highlanders Varsity built a nine-run lead in the fourth inning and then held off Rochester for a 9-7 victory on Monday.
Rochester scored seven runs in the failed comeback over the next few innings.
Jon Ursuy led Adams Highlanders Varsity to victory by
driving in four runs. Ursuy went 2-for-3 at the plate. Adams Highlanders fired up the offense in the first inning, when Ursuy singled on the first pitch of
the at bat, scoring two runs. Ursuy had continued success hitting for a double in the second.

The game was tied at one with Adams Highlanders batting in the bottom of the fourth when Buck Snabes singled on a 1-0 count, scoring two
runs.
Adams Highlanders Varsity secured the victory thanks to seven runs in the fourth inning. Ben Dempster, Snabes, Parker Picot, Bino
Watters, Jon Ursuy, and Braedy Limke each drove in runs during the inning.

Adams was shut out on Monday by Lake Orions solid pitcher, #12, Waters. WATERS earned the victory on the pitcher's mound
for Dragons. The lefthander lasted seven innings, allowing two hits and zero runs while striking out eight and walking one.

came when Brenson Waters doubled on a 3-2 count, scoring one run.
The Dragons tallied three runs in the sixth inning which contributed in
the big inning with RBIs.
