Caring & Sharing Loss Support Group

Participating in a grief support group can be a healthy step in the healing process. Meet others who are dealing with similar losses and gain a better understanding of the grief process. Alzheimer’s/Dementia Caregivers Group

Women's Luncheon - Tabloid Eleanor Roosevelt

Find out more about the life of this facinating woman! The tabloids of today would have a field day with Eleanor Roosevelt, starting from her childhood right up to her time in the U.N. Her husband's affairs as well as her affairs of the heart would have been all over the National Enquirer. She was an outspoken supporter of the rights of women, Blacks and workers at a time when it was not popular.

Parkinson’s Care Partner Group

This group provides an opportunity for those who are caring for their loved one to come together for support, sharing and time to talk with others who are also living with Parkinson’s. Call facilitator Kathy Walton 248.568.3549. The OPC is located at 650 Letica Drive, Rochester.

ABOUT THE OLDER PERSONS' COMMISSION (OPC)
The Older Persons' Commission (OPC) provides something for everyone 50+ with a wide array of personal enrichment, fitness, aquatic, social and travel offerings. We also offer supportive senior services such as Meals on Wheels, Adult Day Service, Transportation and more. Residents 50+ of the City of Rochester Hills, City of Rochester and Charter Township of Oakland are automatically members of the 90,000 sq. ft. state-of-the-art facility.
