OPC membership is available at no charge to all residents 50+ of Rochester, Rochester Hills and Oakland Township. Registration forms are available at OPC or online at opcseniorcenter.org. Top Chef 2023

February 16 | 5pm to 7pm | $20 | Gym

Calling all foodies! Senior Living Community Chefs will compete in Appetizer, Entree & Dessert categories. Local celebrity judges will cast their votes for the winner in each category. Guests will sample all of the entries and select the People's Choice winner. Beer & wine will be available for purchase. The OPC is located at 650 Letica Drive, Rochester. Caring & Sharing Loss Support Group

Participating in a grief support group can be a healthy step in the healing process. Meet others who are dealing with similar losses and gain a better understanding of the grief process. Alzheimer’s/Dementia Caregivers Group

Visually Impaired Group

Parkinson’s Support

This group which meets at OPC, is associated with the Michigan Parkinson Foundation, featuring programs for everyday living, sharing and support. Call 586.612.2744 for information. Newcomers welcome! The OPC is located at 650 Letica Drive, Rochester.


Parkinson’s Care Partner Group

Feb. 22 | 1pm to 3pm

This group provides an opportunity for those who are caring for their loved one to come together for support, sharing and time to talk with others who are also living with Parkinson’s. Call facilitator Kathy Walton 248.568.3549. The OPC is located at 650 Letica Drive, Rochester.


ABOUT THE OLDER PERSONS' COMMISSION (OPC)

The Older Persons' Commission (OPC) provides something for everyone 50+ with a wide array of personal enrichment, fitness, aquatic, social and travel offerings. We also offer supportive senior services such as Meals on Wheels, Adult Day Service, Transportation and more. Residents 50+ of the City of Rochester Hills, City of Rochester and Charter Township of Oakland are automatically members of the 90,000 sq. ft. state-of-the-art facility.
