Rochester Community Concert Band presents
‘Make a Joyful Noise’



ROCHESTER HILLS, MI - Nov 7, 2022 - The Rochester Community Concert Band will present their “Make a Joyful Noise” concert on Tuesday, December 13, at 7:30pm. in the Rochester High School Auditorium, 1361 Walton Blvd, Rochester Hills, MI 48309. The concert is open to the public and free to attend. Donations are gratefully accepted and appreciated.

The concert will include, among others, “A Stocking Full of Composers” by Julie Giroux, “An American Christmas” by Robert W. Smith, “Driedel Dance” by Robert Thurston, “Toyland” by Victor Herbert, “A Solitary Wish” by Brian Balmages, “Secret Agent Santa” by Jeff Simons and “A Christmas Festival” by Leroy Anderson, with guest conductor Mike Szczegielniak.

Santa himself will make a guest appearance performing with RCCB trombonists Peter Hoffer, Matt Brown, and Phil Reseigh on “A Trombone Christmas”, written for Trombone Quartet and Band. Santa will also be available for pictures in the auditorium lobby immediately following the concert.

About Rochester Community Concert Band

The 80-member all volunteer Rochester Community Concert Band is conducted by Paul F. DeRubeis and includes adult community members and advanced high school students from greater Rochester and Rochester Hills as well as students from Macomb Community College. The RCCB is a 501(c)(3) non-profit tax-exempt organization; donations are accepted and greatly appreciated.
