Rochester Adams Highlanders and the Rochester Falcons Meet for the Region 2 District 2 Football Championship!

Oct 29, 2022, Rochester, MI - Rochester Adams and Rochester will meet for the MHSAA Region 2 District 2 Championship on Friday, November 4, at Rochester Adams High School.

Adams advanced on Friday night with a win over the Lake Orion Dragons. Parker Picot contributed six touchdowns in the 49-35 victory.

The Rochester Falcons advanced with a 21-20 come-from-behind victory over crosstown rival the Stoney Creek Cougars. The Falcons pulled out the victory when Alex Bueno completed a 5-yard pass to Alex Calcagno with 5 seconds on the clock. With the game tied at 20-20, it would be up to Senior Aidan Osentoski to deliver the extra point to win the game. Then, with no time remaining, Aidan executed a perfect extra point to give the Rochester Falcons their first playoff victory in the history of the Falcons football program.

Of the 32 Division 1 teams that make the playoffs, Rochester Adams is ranked #9 with a playoff qualifying point total of 75.653. The Rochester Falcons are ranked #30 with a playoff point total of 52.778.

#9 Rochester Adams will host #30 Rochester at Rochester Adams High School on Friday, Nov. 4, at 7pm

The winner of the Adams vs Rochester game will face the winner of the Clarkston vs Davison for the Regional Championship the weekend of November 11-12, 2022.
