OPC 50+ Expo - October 6th!



Rochester, MI - The Older Persons’ Commission (OPC) 50+ Senior Expo is an event that offers a great wealth of information, resources, education and fun for adults 50 years of age and older, care givers, friends and family. The Expo will take place on Thursday, October 6 from 9am to 1pm at 650 Letica Drive in Rochester.

The much-anticipated Senior Expo will have over 70 exhibitors on site with information and resources on a comprehensive range of topics including financial management, caregiving, healthcare, Medicare/Medicaid instruction, real estate, legal services, heath-care assistance, senior living options and more. There will also be great raffle prizes and giveaways. The event is open to the public, no pre-registration is required, and admission and parking are FREE. Shuttle service is available from St. Paul’s United Methodist Church.

While the focus of the event is on addressing the needs of those 50 and older, it’s also a valuable resource for caregivers and residents of all ages facing health issues or needing information and assistance.

At 1:15pm, Dr. Partha Nandi, MD, FACP, Gastroenterologist, CEO of ‘Ask Dr. Nandi,’ Chief Health Editor of WXYZ ABC Detroit, international Best-Selling Author and Chief Medical Officer of Pinnacle GI Partners, will be the Expo keynote speaker. Dr. Nandi will share his insights and providing holistic and practical tools for people to take control of their health and proceed in the world with compassion, empathy and integrity. His inspiring and powerful message will empower and inspire attendees to indeed become their own healthcare hero.
