TRICK-OR-TREAT IN DOWNTOWN ROCHESTER!
Rochester, MI, September 9, 2022, Rochester Hills, MI - On Saturday, October 15, watch the streets of Rochester come to life with ghosts, ghouls, superheroes and more as children trick-or treat with the Downtown merchants! Children can then meet at the corner of East Street and E. University for a costume parade at 5:15pm. Followed by a Halloween Fest in the Farmers’ Market Lot!
Trick-or-Treat
Kids are encouraged to dress-up and Trick-or-Treat downtown from 3:30pm to 5pm. Nearly 50 businesses will participate in Trick-or-Treat and the participating businesses will be marked with window signage. Trick-or-Treater traffic will be one way only on each side of Main Street. The east side will run one way north and the west side will run one way south. Trick-or-Treat is sponsored by Genisys Credit Union.
Costume Parade
At 5:15pm, kids can meet for the Costume Parade at the public parking lot at the corner of Water Street and University. They will be joined by a police car and fire truck and precede south on Water Street and end at the Rochester Fire Department.
Halloween Fest
After the parade, join us at the Halloween Fest from 5pm to 6:30pm. The Halloween Fest is located in the parking lot at E. 3rd and Main. Activities include Halloween themed goodies, local organizations, The Little Donut Factory will be selling hot fresh donuts, a photo opportunity with Ecto-1 and the Metro Detroit Ghostbusters, and The Linda Rea Team will be donating pumpkins to the first 100 trick-or-treaters who stop by their pumpkin patch!
