Man Charged for Unwanted Sexual Touching at Marshall's Store in Rochester Hills



OAKLAND COUNTY, Mich. – July 14, 2022 - A Sterling Heights man was arraigned today on a charge of fourth-degree criminal sexual conduct for inappropriately touching a female employee at a Rochester Hills store on July 1.

Brian Lamont Swan, 53, is accused of unwanted sexual contact of an employee at Marshall’s Home Goods store in Rochester Hills. He was arraigned in the 52-3 District Court in Rochester Hills by Magistrate Marie Soma who set a $20,000 cash, surety, or 10 percent bond. He is being held in the Oakland County Jail.






Sheriff’s Deputies were dispatched to the store in the 1100 block of S. Rochester Road on the report that a sexual assault had occurred. The female employee told Deputies that a man – later identified as Swan – walked behind her while she was working and touched her from behind in a sexual manner. Swan was arrested and taken into custody at his home today without incident.

Detectives utilized store surveillance video to identify Swan. Detectives in neighboring jurisdictions are investigating to determine if Swan may have been involved in similar incidents.
