During the week of August 1, 2022, Rochester Community Schools staff will begin relocating offices from the Administration Building at 501 W. University Drive to a new district facility at 52585 Dequindre Road in the city of Rochester.

The Administration Building on University Drive will be closed to visitors beginning Aug. 1 to accommodate the relocation of technology, offices, resources, community meeting space and approximately 100 staff members.

Departments impacted by the move include: business operations, community relations, curriculum, district nurse, enrichment, facilities, human resources, pre-K, purchasing, Rochester Education Association, special education, student enrollment, superintendent’s cabinet, teaching and learning, and technology.

Relocation Begins Out of Rochester Community Schools Administration Building on University Drive.

Community members will be able to contact individual departments using email. Staff members may be working remotely through the move.

Phone calls will continue to be accepted and routed through the district switchboard by calling the main number at 248-726-3000.

Updates will be shared with the community when in-person services resume at the Dequindre location. Additionally, we will keep our greater Rochester residents informed as community meeting spaces open.

We truly appreciate the patience and support of our community as the district continues to ensure that RCS teaching, learning and school support environments properly accommodate collaboration, efficiency, safety, service, and a student-centered focus on education.
