SHOP TIL’ YOU DROP AT DOWNTOWN ROCHESTER’S SIDEWALK SALES

ROCHESTER, MI June 1, 2022 - Nothing says summer in Downtown Rochester quite like Sidewalk Sales! Back for its 67th year, Sidewalk Sales will kick-off on Thursday, July 14.

Presented by Chief Financial Credit Union, Sidewalk Sales will run Thursday, July 14 and Friday, July 15 from 10am to 9pm and Saturday, July 16 from 10am to 6pm. Come check out the awesome assembly of bargains from Downtown Rochester merchants. Sidewalk Sale displays will be located along Main Street and side streets in Downtown Rochester.

Downtown Rochester's Sidewalk Sale weekend is a Chief favorite," said Ashley Chambers, Chief Financial Credit Union Director of Business Development. "Our team loves to meet the community and share our passion for being a part of the Rochester area! Be sure to stop by and see us, we have a fun experience and prizes planned!"

As always there will be fun for all ages. Kids can partake in a craft daily from 12pm to 3pm in front of City Tavern (423 Main). On Friday night get movin’ and groovin’ for the return of Dancin’ in the Street! Dancin’ in the Street takes place on W. Fourth Street from 6pm to 10pm. Bring the whole family to enjoy live music featuring the band The SquarePegz as well as, a TasteFest from local Rochester eateries!

Back again this year is the Rochester Explorers Club. The Explorers Club invites kids of all ages to get outdoors and explore everything that our community has to offer through an amazing array of adventures. Kids can pick up their free Explorers Club Kit during Sidewalk Sales at the Downtown Collaboration Studio located at 431 Main Street.

Continue the fun on Saturday, July 16 with Movies in the Moonlight and Cruella. Movies in the Moonlight is located in the parking lot at the corner of E. Third & Water, one block east of Main. Featured movies begin at dusk (approximately 9:15pm) and pre-shows start at 8:30pm. Admission is free. Movies in the Moonlight continues July 23, 30 & August 6.
