OPC membership is available at no charge to all residents 50+ of Rochester, Rochester Hills and Oakland Township. Registration forms are available at OPC or online at opcseniorcenter.org. You must register in person as proof of residency is required. The OPC is located at 650 Letica Drive, Rochester.
5K Run/Walk for Meals on Wheels
June 4 | 8:00am Start/ Registration begins 7:30am
5K family fun run/walk that raises funds for Meals on Wheels. The event begins at 8am at the OPC, travels along Letica Drive and the Clinton River Trail. The course doubles back and ends at the OPC. Register by May 25 to receive an event t-shirt. Registration is $25 before May 25, $30 after May 25. To register, visit opcseniorcenter.org or call (248)608-0278. Senior Panel Interactive Discussion
June 7 | 6:00pm
Roundtable discussion on elder law, finance and senior services. Get the knowledge you need to make important life decisions allowing you to remain in control of your life. Expert panel of professionals will be on hand to answer your questions. This is a complimentary program, but pre-registration is required. Refreshments and appetizers will be served. Travel with the OPC – Tigers vs. White Sox at Comerica Park
June 15 | 11:00am – 5:00pm
Baseball is back! Come see the Tigers take on the Chicago White Sox. Seats are in the lower level covered section 114. Tickets are $92 and include motor coach transfer and $10 loaded value voucher to use as you wish in Comerica Park (some restriction apply). There is a $10 additional charge for non-OPC members. Deadline for registration is May 13. The bus leaves promptly at posted time, please arrive 30 minutes prior. The OPC is located at 650 Letica Drive, Rochester. Travel with the OPC – St. Sabbas High Tea & Tour
June 23 | 10:00am – 4:00pm
We will visit St. Sabbas, an authentic, working monastery, and enjoy a 7-course high tea luncheon featuring finger sandwiches, soup, heavy hors d’oeuvres and dessert. A strict dress code is enforced: no shorts, capris, leggings, visible tattoos or bare shoulders, and hemlines below the knee.
All-inclusive tickets are $84 and include motor coach transport. There is a $10 additional charge for non-OPC members. Deadline for registration is May 20. Summer Soiree for Meals on Wheels
June 24 | 6:30pm – 10pm
Garden party fundraiser for OPC’s Meals on Wheels service. This elegant evening will take place in the lush gardens surrounding the OPC. Guests will enjoy a catered strolling dinner, live music, raffle items and more! Tickets are $125 and can be purchased by visiting opcseniorcenter.org or by calling (248)608-0251. Caring & Sharing Loss Support Group

Participating in a grief support group can be a healthy step in the healing process. Meet others who are dealing with similar losses and gain a better understanding of the grief process. Alzheimer’s/Dementia Caregivers Group

The Older Persons' Commission (OPC) provides something for everyone 50+ with a wide array of personal enrichment, fitness, aquatic, social and travel offerings. We also offer supportive senior services such as Meals on Wheels, Adult Day Service, Transportation and more. Residents 50+ of the City of Rochester Hills, City of Rochester and Charter Township of Oakland are automatically members of the 90,000 sq. ft. state-of-the-art facility.
