ROCHESTER, MI – March 1, 2022 – Downtown Rochester is proud to announce the debut of the Downtown Dish, a new texting platform for Downtown Rochester. Visitors can subscribe to the Downtown Dish by texting JOIN to 866-603-4005. By signing up, subscribers will receive texts about downtown news, upcoming events & promotions and much more!

Downtown Rochester received a “Spirit of Main Street” Grant from Genisys Credit Union and Main Street Oakland County to increase and diversify communication channels through the Rochester Downtown Development Authority (DDA).

“Offering a texting platform for downtown was the next logical step in our marketing efforts”, stated Kristi Trevarrow, Rochester DDA Executive Director. “Texting will allow us to connect to residents and visitors instantly to deliver up-to-the-minute news and information about all the great things happening in Downtown Rochester.”

During the month of March all new subscribers will be entered into daily drawings for gift cards from downtown shops, salons and restaurants.
