Rochester Community Schools Closed

Rochester Community Schools posted the following...

"Rochester Community Schools will be closed on Friday, Feb 18, due to weather and icy road conditions. The RCS Caring Steps Children’s Center will have a delayed opening at 9am.

We will continue to monitor weather conditions and provide updates through School Messenger regarding afterschool and evening activities. Please continue to check the district website for more information.

As a reminder, there is no school Monday and Tuesday, Feb. 21-22, for the winter recess.


Avondale School District Closed

"ALL Avondale School District schools (including child care) will be closed Friday, February 18, 2022 due to inclement weather."


Oakland University

Oakland University posted the following...

"Due to inclement weather, the university will implement a delayed start on Friday, February 18, 2022, at OU's Main Campus and Macomb County locations.

In-person classes scheduled to begin before noon on Friday will be canceled unless course instructors elect to teach online. Students in these classes should check their OU email accounts and Moodle for messages regarding class status, or contact their instructor if the status is unclear."

"THE MAIN CAMPUS WILL HAVE A DELAYED START FOR 2/18 AND WILL OPEN AT 11:00AM.

SEATED CLASSES MEETING BEFORE 11:00 AM WILL BE NOTIFIED BY THEIR INSTRUCTOR ABOUT MEETING VIRTUALLY. STAFF SHOULD CONNECT WITH SUPERVISORS."
