DOWNTOWN ROCHESTER SNOWGLOW

Rochester, MI - Grab your family and head to town on January 14 & 15 for Downtown Rochester’s Snowglow! Enjoy safari-themed ice sculptures, an ice carving competition, live carvings, marshmallow roasting, shopping, fireworks and of course, The Big, Bright Light Show!

The Downtown Rochester Snowglow will take place on Friday, January 14 from 5 - 9 pm and Saturday, January 15 from noon – 9 pm. The Snowglow will include over 40 ice sculptures lining the streets, an ice carving competition on W. 4th Street, marshmallow roasting with the Lions’ Club on E. 3rd, shopping, fireworks each night and of course, The Big, Bright Light Show. This is year’s ice sculpture theme is “Safari”. Take yourself, your family, or friends on a safari adventure! You will see your favorite safari animals including zebra, lion, hippo and many more!

“We are excited to bring back the Snowglow once again,” stated Jenna O’Dell, Events Coordinator of the Rochester Downtown Development Authority. “A special thanks to wonderful sponsors from our community, we are able to have fireworks both nights of the Snowglow!”

Fireworks take place on Friday and Saturday and begin at 8 pm. You can view the fireworks on Main Street or in the Farmers’ Market Lot (corner of E. 3rd and Water). Fireworks are sponsored by; The Crawford Insurance Group, Dance on Main, Home Bakery, Julie Tourangeau State Farm, The Linda Rea Team, Oakland Animal Hospital, O'Connor's Public House, Our Credit Union, Riemer Floors and Rochester Mills Beer Co.
